How to Get Food
If you’re struggling to make ends meet, we are here to help.
At Storehouse, we work on a referral basis to make sure you’re getting the help you need from other groups as well as from us.
If you’re already connected with a professional support service, like a Housing Officer or Social Worker you can speak to them about being referred to us (click here for our referral form) and find out more about how our referrals work below.
If you’re not in this position and unsure where to get a referral form, get in touch or come along to one of our drop-in sessions and our team will work with you to find a referral option. Please note, if you do not have a referral form we can only provide you with pre-packed emergency bags, but you will still go away with food.
You’ll also be offered a voucher to get a drink from the Community Cafe at the St Davids Centre whenever you attend a drop-in session.
Come shop for the food you need and have a chat with our lovely team. We look forward to meeting you!

Practicalities
A lot of the food we give out is tinned, which is heavy. We have some carrier bags, but you might find it helpful to bring a backpack to help you carry things home.
If you are unwell but are in need of food, you can send a friend on your behalf (please let us know in advance), or contact us about getting food delivered.

Information for Referral Partners
We use referral forms so that we know the person coming to us is in contact with another point of care and support. We are a foodbank; we can offer relief from the immediate need of food, but we appreciate the support a person may need can often stretch far beyond that.
In order to sign someone’s referral form you need to assess their situation and reason for needing a referral to Storehouse. For example: does this client have no other means to adequate food provision without receiving support from Storehouse? What are the reason(s) for referral? Please include these details on the referral form.
If your organisation or group were to refer someone to us, you should be supporting them in the ways that you are uniquely able to.
You will find our referral form here. Once completed, the form can be emailed to storehouse@kingdomvineyard.com or the client can bring it along to one of our drop-in sessions. Please get in touch if you have any questions about the referral form process.
