What we do.

Storehouse is a foodbank serving our community of NE Fife. It was set up in 2006 by Kingdom Vineyard Church serving people of any faith or no faith, and ever since we have been giving out bags of food and toiletries to those who need help with supplies. Any one of us could fall on hard times, and so we think it is really important that as a local community we are able to lend a hand to support each other through it. We want to share God’s love and care for those in need in our area. Find out more about our vision and values here.

Weekly Drop-Ins

Every week we run drop-in sessions for those who are struggling to make ends meet to come and receive food. We aim to run these sessions in the most welcoming way we can. We try our best to work in such a way that means everyone receives the food that they like and have chosen themselves. Our team is mostly made up of volunteers who are trained to help each person find what they are looking for and make them feel welcomed and at ease.

Whenever someone attends one of our drop-in sessions they can also make use of our drink vouchers to use in the Community Cafe at the St Davids Centre, and access Clothesline, a hub-run clothesbank with items for all ages. Our cafe vouchers are kindly funded by the St Andrews Community Trust.

Storehouse also partners with other agencies, such as Fife Women’s Aid, sending pre-packed bags of food to them to distribute.

We are always deeply saddened that the need for foodbanks is continuously on the rise, however we feel really blessed to be able to carry out the work we do with the generous support of others.
