Coronavirus Update

Last updated: 12/05/21 13:00

We're so grateful for the constant support and generosity we see for Storehouse, and so we wanted to give you some up-to-date information on how we are currently running.

For all of the below, we’re asking people to follow the government guidelines to maintain good hygiene practice (hand washing, tissues etc.), and to not come to Storehouse if you have symptoms linked to coronavirus.

IF YOU NEED SUPPLIES

As things stand, details for our drop-in sessions for service users in need are unchanged, and can be found at here. Anyone with a referral is invited to come to a Storehouse drop-in, and the webpage includes details of agencies who can arrange that.

When you are visiting us to collect food, we ask that you follow the instructions of our Storehouse team, and follow the government social distancing guidelines by keeping 2 metres from each other.

Again, if you are experience any symptoms (a new persistent cough of fever of above 37.8c) PLEASE STAY HOME and send a friend to collect for you!

IF YOU WANT TO DONATE SUPPLIES

For anyone looking to make donations of supplies, we’re asking that wherever possible people make arrangements to deliver to the St Davids Centre between 9am-5pm on Wednesdays. If you’re not able to deliver during those times, please email storehousedropoff@kingdomvineyard.com and we’ll try to arrange another suitable time.

The address for the St Davids Centre is:

St Davids Centre
Albany Park
St Andrews
KY16 8BP

At the St David's Centre there is a carpark around the back. There is back door do the building there that we use. You'll see a sign on the door with a doorbell attached, ring the bell, and someone will then come out to meet you.

Stock we currently need includes:

  • Tinned meat (hotdogs etc)

  • Tinned fish

  • Meal in a tin (other than pies)

  • Instant coffee

  • Sugar

  • Hand sanitiser

What we DON’T need includes any foods that require cooking with other ingredients. For example, Baked Beans are great; Kidney Beans and Chopped Tomatoes, not so much!

IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER

We’re so grateful to all our volunteers who make Storehouse drop-ins possible. At present we have a fully trained team good to keep operations on the go, but if you’re interested in becoming part of that team please email storehouse@kingdomvineyard.com.

IF YOU WANT TO DONATE FINANCIALLY

For anyone wanting to donate to Storehouse financially, you can do so at here.

Once again we are so profoundly grateful for all the support given to and through us!
